A Better Pet School of Dog Training instructors  trained over 1500 dogs in 2005, in group classes, private lessons and day camp / residency programs. More than any other trainer in the State of Idaho. Over 950 more than the next leading trainer. With their years of experience and skill,  The trainers can help you train your canine companion  to the highest level of obedience. Our professional trainers continue their education by attending several yearly seminars and conferences on obedience training and behavior by noted authorities and field experts, including the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Several private lesson options are offered to provide the opportunity to enjoy learning, playing and working with your pet. Behavior modification and basic obedience sessions can be scheduled at our training facility or in the pet’s home environment.

Over the last 10 years we have had 9 people who have had their dogs trained here at A Better Pet Dog Training, run out and open their own dog training business. These people have NO education, NO formal training  and have NOT successfully completed a comprehensive structured apprentice program. These copy cats are easily found, They not only try to copy our training techniques but they go so far as to copy our Advertisements and Marketing Techniques to try and confuse potential dog training clients. For the last 15 years we have been using the catch phrase "Is Your Dog Driving You Crazy" Recently a former employee stole our training manual, training contract and all our marketing material. He began advertising with "Is Your Dog Driving You Insane". Not only that, he stole text from our website by actually copying / pasting right onto his site. Plus, since 1999 our web address has been www.idahodogtrainer.com In order to confuse even more people and steal potential clients who are referred to us, he registered his website as www.idahodogtraining.com 
I have to respect him for his creative approach to business. "Follow in the footsteps of someone who is already successful and you will become successful too". But to steal all the marketing ideas and copy verbatim advertisements and training contracts, and then to bad mouth the very person he is copying, you have to ask yourself, Is this a person of integrity?

For people who like the benefit of personal one on one instruction, private lessons are available and are what we specialize in. The benefits of private instruction are:
